Hello! My name is Debi! I am a single mom of four boys. Two of them still
live at home. During my days I take care of the elderly. I do everything I
can to keep them in their homes and out of nursing homes in their final
years. During the evenings, it's all about candles. This is me in my
kitchen. I spend a lot of time there labeling and working on my candles
when I am not out back making them. I have always loved candles but I
hate to pay store prices for candles which either don't really have much
scent (because they are made of flavored oils not essential oils) or if it's a
jar candle it doesn't burn all the way to the bottom. So, I decided I was
going to learn all I could and start making them. The next thing I knew,
everyone that entered my house, including my lawn guy, would say "your
house smells soooo good!" Making my own candles then went from being
just a hobby and grew into a business! Since then I have branched out a
bit making bath oils, diffusers, potpourri and much more (as you see on my
site). And now I offer them to you at a very reasonable cost!
Just recently I have merged with Visual Innovations. I have done a lot of
volunteer work at the local blind center. I love working with the blind! They
are so willing to learn and make something of themselves. I have never
seen anything like it. Personally, I would hire a blind or visually impaired
person before I would hire a sited one. They are so curious about
everything and really give their all. That is why I am donating 20% of my
earnings to Visual Innovations, any little bit I can help them will make my
day. So please, help me, help them.
